Charleston City Marina

Charleston City Marina is a popular marina located on the western banks of the Ashley River in Charleston, South Carolina. It is one of the largest marinas in the Southeastern United States, offering 19,000 linear feet of dock space and a full range of amenities and services for boaters. The marina features a fuel dock, pump-out station, laundry facilities, swimming pool, and a yacht club. The marina has a rich history, having been established in 1848 as a private yacht club. It was known as the Carolina Yacht Club until it was acquired by the City of Charleston in 1994 and renamed Charleston City Marina. The marina has been recognized as a National Clean Marina and a Blue Star Marina for its commitment to environmental stewardship. It has also hosted several prestigious sailing events, including the Sperry Top-Sider Charleston Race Week and the Charleston Harbor Resort and Marina Charleston Race Week.
