Point State Park

Point State Park is a 36-acre park located in downtown Pittsburgh where the three rivers of the city (Allegheny, Monongahela, and Ohio) meet. It is a popular destination for tourists because of its stunning views of the city skyline and its historic significance as it was here that several forts were built by the French and British during the colonial era, and later, during the American Revolution. Visitors can explore the Fort Pitt Museum, which features exhibits about the history of the area and the role the forts played in the French and Indian War and the American Revolution. The park is also home to the iconic fountain at the confluence of the three rivers.
