Spectrum Center

Spectrum Center is a multipurpose arena located in the heart of Charlotte, North Carolina. It is the home of the Charlotte Hornets of the NBA and is also used for concerts, conventions, and other live events. The arena opened in 2005 and has a seating capacity of just over 20,000. The Spectrum Center is conveniently located near many hotels, restaurants, and other attractions. Visitors can catch a Hornets game, attend a concert by some of the biggest names in music, or attend a conference or convention. In addition to its modern amenities and state-of-the-art facilities, the Spectrum Center features a large, 16-foot tall sculpture called "The Energy" that was designed by artist Niki de Saint Phalle. The sculpture is made of brightly colored glass and mirrors and is a popular spot for photos. There are also several other nearby landmarks that visitors may want to check out. The NASCAR Hall of Fame is just a few blocks away, and the Charlotte Convention Center is located right next door. Visitors can also take a short walk to the Bank of America Stadium, home of the Carolina Panthers.
