Nicollet Mall in Minneapolis

Nicollet Mall is a pedestrian shopping and dining district located in downtown Minneapolis, Minnesota. It spans 12 blocks, starting at the Mississippi River and ending at Grant Street. The mall is a popular destination for locals and tourists alike, offering a wide variety of shops, restaurants, and entertainment options. It was first established in 1967 and has undergone several renovations and upgrades over the years, including a major redesign in 2017. Nicollet Mall is named after Nicollet Avenue, one of the city's oldest and most iconic streets, which was named after French explorer and cartographer Joseph Nicollet.
